PostPublish

PostPublish MCP server

A remote Model Context Protocol server that lets your AI agent list your accounts, check each network's rules and schedule posts to Facebook Pages, Instagram, Threads, X, LinkedIn and Telegram.

Server URL

Remote MCP (Streamable HTTP)
https://postpublish.pro/api/mcp

OAuth (recommended)

Add the URL to your client and sign in to PostPublish in the browser window that opens. Nothing is copied or pasted, and you remove access from the client.

API key

For clients without OAuth or unattended workflows. Create a key in the app under Settings, then AI agents, choose read-only or read and write, and optionally set an expiry date.

Tools

Every tool is labelled by what it can change. Read-only tools never change anything.

  • list_workspacesRead-only

Show the workspace this connection acts in.

  • list_accountsRead-only

List the connected Facebook Pages, Instagram professional accounts, Threads, X, LinkedIn and Telegram accounts.

  • get_platform_rulesRead-only

Text, image and video limits per network and the scheduling rules, so copy fits before it is written.

  • list_postsRead-only

List posts by status and date range, newest first, with cursor pagination.

  • get_postRead-only

One post with its status and each account's result, permalink and error.

  • get_calendarRead-only

Posts in a date range grouped by day in your time zone, to spot gaps and clashes.

  • list_mediaRead-only

Images and videos already in the workspace library.

  • upload_media_from_urlWrites

Add an image or video from a public https link. Private addresses are blocked.

  • create_upload_linkWrites

A one-time link to upload a local file.

  • create_postWrites

Save a draft, schedule, or publish now to one or more accounts. Needs your time zone. Over-limit text is rejected, never cut.

  • create_posts_bulkWrites

Up to 50 posts at once. Validate first to get a plan without saving anything.

  • update_postWrites

Change the text, accounts or media of a post that has not published.

  • reschedule_postWrites

Move a draft or scheduled post to a new time.

  • retry_failed_postWrites

Re-send only the accounts that failed.

  • delete_postDestructive

Remove a draft or scheduled post. The agent must confirm with you first.

Rules and limits

  • Posts go only to the accounts you connected, in the workspace you chose when you signed in.
  • A post's text can be up to 5,000 characters; each network then applies its own limit (table below). Text over a limit is rejected with the limit in the message. It is never shortened.
  • Times must carry a UTC offset and fall between 1 minute and 366 days from now. Your time zone is always asked for, never guessed.
  • Posts that are publishing or published cannot be edited or deleted. Only drafts and scheduled posts can be deleted.
  • Permissions are enforced on every call: a read-only connection cannot write, and an agent can never do more than your own role allows.
  • Turn on “agent drafts need approval” in Settings and every agent post is saved as a draft for you to review.
  • Requests are limited per connection and per workspace. If you hit the limit, the error says how long to wait.

Privacy and revoking access

  • The server only sees what your sign-in or key allows: your workspace's posts and connected accounts.
  • To revoke an API key or a connected agent, open Settings, then AI agents, and revoke it. It stops working immediately.
  • To end an OAuth connection, remove the connector in your AI client.
  • Read how we handle data in the privacy policy.
